Welcome to the MIC

Tuesday marked the start of my summer internship at the Microsoft Innovation Center. Our supervisor, Sir Tim de Dios, treated us first for lunch. (Weird though, I wasn’t able to finish my food.)

Sir Tim’s signature in emails show ‘developer evangelist’. I guess that’s what he did during lunch. He enlightened us and gave us career options and even explained the pros and cons of each one. He told us that us early as today, we have to think about and decide what we want and what’s best for our future.

Anyway, this is what we will do on our internship. We will learn several Microsoft technologies, and by the end of the month, we should be able to conceptualize on our project using the things we have learned. We will be implementing our project in May.

  1. You didn’t finish your food because:

    A) you were mesmerized by “Sir Tim”
    B) kinabahan ka sa project na ipapagawa ni “Sir Tim”
    C) you realized you’ll be using .NET and not Java
    D) all of the above
