Karl, A, Jo-Anne and I went to the Office of the University Registrar early morning to set-up the room where the freshmen will register themselves. The room was a big one. Near the door are rows of chairs extending throughout the span of the room. In front of the chairs are tables where the Registration Assistants and OUR staff are positioned. There is an individual PC in each table where an RA or a staff  will operate. Behind them is our station.

In the first few hours from the start of the registration, freshmen students filled the room. Technical pressure rose immediately. We were given access to the actual database of the CRS. Given the permission, we could open, enlist and cancel slots according to the needs of the staff and RAs.

By early afternoon, we have reached 400 students enlisted. At the end of the day, the CRS had enlisted about 800 students in the first day of registration.
