Two words. Britney. Spears.

Pop Princess Britney Spears

For most of the summer, her voice has been blaring in our workstations. From her early days as a Catholic school girl in Baby One More Time to a sweaty bomb shell in Im a Slave for You to her exceptional earner self in Gimme More, she is our goto person when it comes to background music.

Another source of entertainment for us came in form of 3 high school kids from Pisay. They converse  in English. They converse in very good English. I mean, they argue in English– which is one of my dreams: to argue with someone in very good English. I am very jealous. But one thing I noticed about them was the fact that they start almost every sentence with the word ‘Dude.’ At one point the three of them managed to say the word “Dude” 91 freaking times in one day. And I am not kidding. We counted. We allot a single sticky note on our Dashboards just for tallying their expressions. It was also fun to watch them arguing because they really raise their voice as if they’re the only ones in the room. It was as if they were having brain sex. Anyway,

Another side note was Carlington Floshi — which was Arden’s very unusual name on his Facebook dummy account. I mean, where did you get that? Oh well, moving on, Im sort of his guinea pig for his Facebook App. So at one point my Wall has been littered with spam messages from Carlington Floshi and Shippou Chan — which is another unusual name on his personal Facebook account.

  1. And what’s the connection to your work?
